Mission

To support the economic development of the Basses-Laurentides by providing direct financing and consulting services to manufacturing and service industry businesses, them being the economic motors of the region.

History

Since 1984, the Centre d'aide aux entreprises (CAE) des Basses-Laurentides has been acting as a true partner in the growth of enterprises from around the territory it serves including the RCMs of Argenteuil, Deux-Montagnes, Mirabel, La Rivière-du-Nord, Thérèse-de-Blainville, and Les Moulins.

Established through the desire of the Basses-Laurentides business sector and from a federal government contribution of $1,550,000, the CAE des Basses-Laurentides is a non-profit organization managed by a board of directors made up of ten specialists who share a broad wealth of expertise in the areas of finance, law, economic development, and entrepreneurship.

Some 300 SMEs have since called upon the CAE des Basses-Laurentides to finance their projects ranging from start-up to growth, including productivity improvement, exporting, innovation, research and development, business acquisition and succession.

Consequently the CAE des Basses-Laurentides has permitted the preservation and maintenance of hundreds of jobs by investing several million dollars in businesses throughout the region.
