To support the economic development of the Rive-Nord by providing direct financing and consulting services to manufacturing and service industry businesses, them being the economic motors of the region.

History

Since 1984, the CAE Rive-Nord has been acting as a true partner in the growth of enterprises from around the territory it serves including the RCMs of Argenteuil, Deux-Montagnes, Mirabel, La Rivière-du-Nord, Thérèse-de-Blainville, Laval, and Les Moulins.

Established through the desire of the Rive-Nord business sector and from a federal government contribution of $1,550,000, the CAE Rive-Nord is a non-profit organization managed by a board of directors made up of ten specialists who share a broad wealth of expertise in the areas of finance, law, economic development, and entrepreneurship.

Some 500 SMEs have since called upon the CAE Rive-Nord to finance their projects ranging from start-up to growth, including productivity improvement, exporting, innovation, research and development, business acquisition and succession.

Consequently the CAE Rive-Nord has permitted the preservation and maintenance of hundreds of jobs by investing several million dollars in businesses throughout the region.
